An Introduction:
“The Lucas Schoolhouse is the launch of my long-term dream of a re-imagined academy for the Fine Arts and Humanities. The Schoolhouse is a space for creatives from all backgrounds to hone their craft, develop their body of work, and engage with a vibrant audience through our studios, gallery, and concert venue. Sculptors, writers, musicians, and more will find a place to work on their projects while receiving critical engagement from our supportive community. We will foster a platform for examination of ideas and open communication among each other as artists and thoughtful companions. We strive for the ability to see the world objectively, and respond to the people and circumstances around us with dignity and grace. “
